Staff change at Carlier Blechbearbeitungs GmbH

30 April 2025

Hanjo Jansen is to leave Carlier after more than 40 years of successful service. The separation is taking place by mutual agreement for operational reasons.
Carlier would like to thank Hanjo Jansen for his many years of dedicated service, most recently as site manager and authorised signatory. For many decades, he was a reliable and influential figure within the company.

With effect from 5 May 2025, Daniel Real will take over as managing director of Carlier. In him, Carlier gains an experienced leader with international experience in the metalworking industry. Since completing his Master’s degree in Materials Engineering at RWTH Aachen University in 2013, he has spent eleven years in various senior roles at a medium-sized, family-run automotive supplier – including as an engineer specialising in metallurgy and welding technology, and as head of the toolmaking department in Mexico. Most recently, following his return to Germany, he was responsible for quality assurance in prototype production. At the same time, he completed a part-time MBA in 2024.

Carlier is delighted to welcome Daniel Real, an experienced leader who will build on the company’s successful track record with his expertise and, together with the team, shape its future-oriented direction.
