High-grade steel
From our warehouse directly to your project
Our inventory of high-grade steel offers a large selection that is particularly popular with customers in mechanical engineering, structural engineering and retail. We can supply high-grade steel in lengths of 6 to 12 meters directly from our warehouse. The WAZ 3.1 factory acceptance test certificate is part of our standard services. Our experts for high-grade steel will be happy to personally answer any questions on materials and applications.

Remarking
Always on the safe side
Remarking is a specific process described in DIN EN 764-5, section 6.2, which we perform in accordance with our certification by GSI SLV Duisburg. This certification allows us to remark components according to the relevant standards and requirements.
Remarking is an important step when it comes to identifying or adapting components. It ensures that the products conform to the relevant standards and are safe to use for the intended purpose. Our staff has been specially trained for this task.
Abrasive blasting
Optimized surfaces for your products
High-quality materials are essential if our blasting and shop priming line is to deliver optimum results. In addition to modern machinery, our highly qualified staff is another important success factor. Our equipment blasts and descales your materials to the SA 2.5 surface standard. And on request, we will give your products a protective coating (layer thickness 20–25 μ) in reddish brown or gray.
Marking
Transparency in production
We label your components with easy-to-read markings for seamless traceability from production to assembly. Whether you need weldment or assembly marks, item numbers etc. – this service is guaranteed to make your assembly and construction process easier.
Shop priming
Greater durability for your products
Shop priming provides short- and medium-term protection for your steel products while they are stored and processed. Our expert staff and state-of-the-art equipment guarantee a uniform layer thickness of 15–30 µ. And our high-quality primer keeps the material weldable.
We offer shop priming with primers in reddish brown and gray.
Countersinking
Narrow tolerances, high-quality results
With our wide range of tools and drill heads, we can produce precise drill holes in different metals, including checker plates. Our modern equipment allows us to deliver custom solutions manufactured to consistently narrow tolerances and with high-quality countersinks. This includes precise countersinks in checker plates – for consistent processing in line with your high standards. Our precision drilling capabilities are the prerequisite for a reliable and precise production that meets even the most exacting requirements.
Sawing
State-of-the-art technology for more efficiency
Our ultramodern machinery includes state-of-the-art sawing technology. With continuous investment in new saws, as well as regular maintenance and repairs, we ensure top performance and precision for all cutting processes. This enables us to offer custom solutions – from manufacturing precise work pieces with narrow tolerances to realizing cuts with different miter angles.
Thread cutting
Custom-fit results with every process step
Precisely cut threads for screw connections ensure stability and a perfect fit.
Kerschgens uses an ultramodern drill to cut helical grooves into metal work pieces. The resulting thread allows for precise fastening of screws or bolts. Thread cutting requires special know-how: To produce high-quality threads, it’s important to choose the right tools and cutting speeds.
Milling
Precise edges, no rework required
Our commitment to maximum precision is reflected in our modern, CNC-controlled drills. Holes up to 50 mm diameter are drilled quickly and precisely, and we can also mill contours like oblong holes, notches or slots. This means there is no need for reworking and no work hardening of the machined edges. A technologically advanced solution that ensures exact holes and optimized production processes by delivering high-precision, customized results.
